What to Expect From Your Reflexology Appointment
From your first session to the days that follow, here’s everything you need to know for a calm and comfortable experience.

Before Your Appointment
Consultation – At the beginning of your first session, I’ll ask you about your health, lifestyle, and any specific concerns you’d like to focus on. This helps me tailor the treatment to your needs.
Ask Me Anything –If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask. Reflexology is a very gentle therapy, and I’m here to ensure you feel relaxed and informed.

During Your Reflexology Session
Comfortable & Relaxing Setting – You’ll be seated or lying down in a calm, cosy environment.
Foot Treatment – I’ll apply gentle pressure to specific points on your feet, which correspond to different parts of your body.
Deep Relaxation – Many people find reflexology deeply soothing, and it’s not uncommon to feel a sense of calm or even drift off to sleep!
Session Duration – Appointments typically last 55 minutes for adults and 30 minutes for children and teenagers.

After Your Session
How You Might Feel – Reflexology encourages the body to rebalance itself. You might feel deeply relaxed, energised, or even experience subtle changes over the next few days.
Stay Hydrated – Drinking plenty of water helps flush out toxins and supports the body’s natural healing process.
Listen to Your Body – If you feel tired, rest. If you feel energised, enjoy it! Reflexology works differently for everyone.

FAQs About Your Appointment
Does reflexology hurt?
No, reflexology is a gentle therapy. Some areas might feel slightly tender if there’s an imbalance, but the treatment should always be relaxing.
Do I need to remove my clothes?
No, only your shoes and socks need to be removed. Reflexology is performed on the feet.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person. Some feel benefits after one session, while others choose to have regular treatments for ongoing support. As reflexology has a cumulative effect, i do usually recommend booking sessions quite close together, a week apart if possible, however we can discuss what works best for you
